Reading & Blogging Wrap-Up: September 2017

It appears that I sucked at both reading and blogging in September and… I just realized that I watched lots of movies and TV shows, so to say that I hadn’t had much time to read is a total lie.

Reading

I only read 3 books. My goal was to read around 10 books… so tell me, am I being ambitious or just simply being greedy? How does one know?

I expected more from this honestly. I appreciate the message that Katrina wants to portray; about stepping outside of your comfort zone and living your life to the fullest but I thought the story was just okay. And I didn’t care much about the plot twist, it wasn’t a surprise.

This book. I am so sorry to say that I did not enjoy reading it. It was painfully slow and I guess all those dreamy and detailed/wordy descriptions just wasn’t working on me. It was hard to get into even when I was already halfway through this book. I’ll still read the next book though.

The writing is simply beautiful and heartwarming. I didn’t cry but my heart still ache for Edward just by thinking about his unexpected journey. The ending was perfect and I couldn’t ask for more. Bonus: it was a super fast read.

Blogging

I didn’t post any book review in September!
