review 1: I go to an all-girls high school, so I can identify with a lot of this, but Mostly Good Girls seems to be challenging what happens in most YA fiction and displaying a more realistic example of wealthy girls at private school. Yes, there are plenty of seventeen-year-old girls who haven't been kissed. Violet is honest and frank in her opinions--she sometimes worries that she's too selfish, but she's endearing because of her strong-mindedness and her need to act for the good of one big institute, as opposed to just one other person. The characters are realistic and actually different from each other and the book is filled with humor.
review 2: I'm dissapointed that some people didn't enjoy this book because the love interest wasn't the main aspect. It's refreshing
... more to find a book where the boy takes a backseat to the main character's real life problems instead of being focused romantically.I was skeptical when I picked up the cover but as I started reading it I couldn't put it down. The short chapters made it a very easy read and the story was well told. I loved reading it and hope to read it again some day! less

It did seem a bit on the petty side but never the less entertaining.
