review 1: I'll give this instalment of the J.J. Graves series three and a half stars.The mystery, the action, the denouement, and the ending were really interesting. I liked the plotline a lot, and the side story of Jaye's family is going to get even more fascinating, I think!I may be in the minority here, but the corny romance and sexual antics of the characters deter from the book for me. A little of that goes a long way. I would have given it more stars if not for the romance being so unrealistic and sappy.I will read the next instalment because of my interest in the back story, with the story ending on a cliffhanger, but parts of this one were really difficult to stomach.

A well written story, keeping you guessing to the end who the killers actually are until the very end. Those pages turn as Jack and J.J. except the truth about themselves and move forward together fighting crime in Bloody Mary. less
