review 1: First, I didn't realize this was a book based on the movie (I thought it was a book made into a movie). For what it was,it was good. I wanted something short and fairly easy to read since I am a full time college student and finals are coming up. The chapters are really short and the book moves at a pretty fast pace as well. There were two or three OBVIOUS revisions to the writing that should have been done but weren't. Where there were these errors, the sentence failed to be a complete thought-the sentences that it occurred in didn't even make sense they were so bad. Other than that, it was enjoyable.
review 2: I absolutely LOVED House At The End of the Street! This book was very fast paced and the plot had many twists and turns. Elissa, the main character, wa... mores easily relatable and it was easy to get into her story. The tone of this book, in my opinion, was dark and suspenseful. Ryan seemed all nice in the beginning of the book, but in the end, he really showed his true colors. This book was very original and it was one of the best books I've read lately. I hope Lily Blake writes another book similar to this. I'd suggest this book to anyone who wants a quick-read murder mystery. less
