review 1: I love reading about MCs, so this one hooked me from the beginning. The story is never simple when it comes to MCs, so here's what I loved about it. The whole mystery behind Eddie being away for six year, and the big revelation does break your heart, cos I still don't get it how someone who's suppose to love and protect you do the things that they do. I love Eddie for her strength to overcome her past. Now over to Dawg, looooooooooove him. He's a normal MC guy all bossy and a complete man-whore but falls for the girl, yep cliched but I still love it. Vasco was one of my all time favorite characters, he's a no-nonsense biker dude, he'll call you up on your bullshit and tell it to you face if you are wrong and gently but surely show you the right path. Brike and Mel definite... morely take up a big part of the book, love Brick well cos he's a biker dude but also because he's soooooooo protective yet so perspective. Mel is the protective big sister who is terrified of losing her sister cos she was away for six years and that also has a lot to do with their past. Eliza is a breath of fresh air with her Disney princesses and comparisons to the characters with Eddie and Dawg. Also we learn a little big about Mac & Vi which is the next book. All in all, it was a great read. Like all MC books, there's conflict, heartbreak but hopefully at the end there's happiness. Here's to happy ever after.I love bikers and for me this was a 4.5 star. Hope you give this book a chance.
review 2: 3.5 Stars This was a good MC read. I found myself interested in the storyline more than the characters, which is why I didn't give it 4 stars. The highlighted romance between Dawg and Edie was definitely steamy, but Dawg's character could have been better developed, so we could get a better understanding why he was such a man-whore and what made Edie change that for him. To me, the club president, Brick was far more interesting and multi-dimensional. Again, this was a good story, but I am on to the next. less
