review 1: This historical romance and thriller has a very engaging and gripping plot. The story is unique and I liked the way the author takes it through so many surprises. The characters are well drawn and the flow of the story is engaging and captivating. There is lot of suspense and intrigue here as the lead characters come together to solve the mystery of decade old murders, along with searching for a missing mother.The romance and family drama along with the underlying mystery is tightly knit and keep the readers interested throughout. Several instances in the story would bring a smile to your face while many will give you goosebumps. The end is action-packed and very exciting. {I got this book as part of a giveaway in exchange for a review}
review 2: Good action, i... morenteresting plot twists, but a little racy for my personal taste. The author is very skilled with description, a little too much so in the bedroom scenes. But the mystery plot was good, the characters likable. Each time I thought I knew "whodunit", something happened to change my thoughts. The characters were very well-developed for a standalone novel, especially given the complexity of the plot. With so much conflict raging in each character, Wulf makes them seem very real and human. less
