review 1: This is the kind of book you rip through in a few hours because it is all plot, and the plot is full of crime and intrigue, but it also manages to have good characters you believe in, which is the thing usually lacking from awesome crime novels you rip through in a few hours. A testament to its absorbingness is I made it all the way to Canarsie yesterday before realizing I had gotten on the wrong-direction L.
review 2: This was a great book to read! It caught me after the first couple of pages and I didn't want to put it down. Imagine how you would feel if your next door neighbours were shot to death and the killers were still at large. There are some twists and turns in the plot that keep you guessing until the very end. Another great book by Linwood Barcl... moreay! I've never yet been disappointed in any of his books. less
