review 1: There was a lot to like about this book. The story kept me engaged. Alex was well-drawn as well as Dane. I was not a fan of the graphic sex, but that's just my personal preference. I thought the secondary characters could have been better developed. The parents were pure evil. Even hardened criminals have a few good points. The best friend seemed to be more of a vehicle to progress the story than a real person. The book could stand another trip past the proofreader. But I really did enjoy the story. 3.4 Stars

An engrossing coming of age tale with great characters and delicious romantic moments.Alexandra has lived a regimented life of privilege, her family is driven by social standing and money. Alexandra gets her first ... moretaste of freedom at college and realises it's time to make changes in her life. Dane sits next to Alexandra in art class, forced to be partners an attraction develops between them but will they be able to overcome their very different backgrounds and pasts?A great read and I look forward to reading more from this author. less
