review 1: This book was very strange to begin with and it took me a while to get my head round the storyline but it was so good to read and I loved the way the story unravelled bit by bit. I loved Melody's character and felt so sorry for her younger self with what she went through because of her parents. I did not like her Mother one bit but loved the character Melody became when she was older. I am a huge fan of Lisa Jewell and this was not her usual style of story but I enjoyed it a lot!
review 2: What an amazing story. So heart-breaking, but at the same time, amazingly written and told in such an intriguing way. This is not a typical romantic contemporary, but a story about a woman who is trying to figure out what was happening in her life before the darkness crept
... moreinto her mind and took away a part of her life. I loved the way it was presented to us, the way we got to see what actually happened and how the story was put together, piece by piece. It definitely made me think about certain things and I think that this book and this story will stay with for a very long time. less
