review 1: Possibly one of the highest trained Navy Seals in helicopter sent to catch Bin Laden was a dog named Cairo. Not only trained to deploy with the Seals, he was also able to find Bin Laden. Dead or alive Cairo would sniff him out. Rogak tells the story of military dogs, unsung heroes who have saved countless lives. If you like dogs, this is a fascinating story of their triumphs, betrayals, and unfailingly loyal service.
review 2: I enjoyed the book but wasn't pulled into the book as emotionally as I thought I would be. After reading the prologue about Cairo, I had my expectations set a bit too high. The book contains a ton of facts and information about several MWD's. I love the pictures but would like more story format than quotes about interviews the auth
... moreor had. I enjoyed the topic and learning, but was looking more for stories. less
