review 1: Lissa Matthews writes her males full blown alpha with the best libido out there (wipes drop of sweat off brow). review 2: I really did not like this book at all. I hate to spend $5.00+ on a book I can read from cover to cover in less than two hours and I especially hate to spend $5.00+ for a book I did not like. Ms. Matthews jumps ri... moreght into the characters lives immediately within the first couple of pages with them having sex. Mandi has been given Jaz for 24 hours as her 40th birthday present from her best friend who just happens to be Jaz's foster sister. Don't get me wrong, I love my steamy erotica love scenes but I like to have a little story to go with it too. I never connected with either character. I never felt like the story was remotely realistic. I never seen myself as the heroine. That combined with the cost of the book (I like to get enough pages to feel like I got my money worth) was a big turn off for me. This is not one I would recommend. less
