review 1: This is another one of those books where I am left wondering: "did I read the same book everyone else did?" It wasn't a full DNF for me because I skipped here and there to the end. I get what the author was trying to develop in the book, but I didn't connect with either Nathan or Charli. She went from being a virgin to sleeping with two guys in a weekend? And she knew she wanted one while she kept sleeping with the other one? I just couldn't get into this book.
review 2: I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review.This was a quick and entertaining read. I liked the twists and turns that the author kept throwing my way and they mystery aspects. I also enjoyed the romance that was present. The only thing was I didn't find the story ... morevery realistic. I'm not saying that the stuff couldn't happen, but really what are the chances. Also the characters didn't always jive with me. Charli, Charli, Charli. I didn't like her I just couldn't connect. I think that if someone is a virgin they wouldn't all of a sudden turn into a giant slut and sleep with two guys. She was also very naive, and she didn't trust her gut. She knew something was off and knew he was lying but just brushed it off even though he could hurt her. And then she went to a secluded place with him! Stupid! Plus she has the biggest a- hole parents ever. The only characters I really liked were Nathan because he is dreamy lol and Rochelle. Oh and whatever Nathan's partners name is.Overall this was a good read I just couldn't connect to all of the characters. I would recommend this book to those who enjoy steamy reads that also have a mystery surrounding them. less
