review 1: When it comes to erotica and happy endings, Ms James doesn't disappoint. Even when she throws in a romp of threesome, she knows what her readers want. And delivers. All her readers have a secret wish to be desired by hunky men in the same way her Heroines do.Tough chick Eden wears her heart on her sleeve. She's never forgotten her one true love. When he suddenly comes knocking, she's cautiously excited.Big hunk Billy regrets running out on the only woman who's ever forged a path to his heart, when he comes back to Eden, he realizes he's home and back to stay.Of course, no menage without the added character. Enter rock star Jon. He wants to love Eden, but his heart has never been in it. One last romp in the sheets with his girl before he hands her over to Billy.A little bit ... moreof drama at the very end, but eventually a very happy ending for the couple. That is pretty much the gist of it.My biggest peeve with books, is mistakes that editors fail to catch. Especially when the same mistake appears in the blurb. When Eden talks about herself, it's "one-man woman", and not "one-woman man" as it's written both in the book and the blurb (blurb has been fixed). Also, couldn't quite connect with Eden. I loved her, I really did - but something just didn't fit. And usually I do love a good menage. But with how Eden and Billy were feeling about each other, the whole adding Jon to the mix just felt a little....awkward. Ms James wrote an amazing scene, so it's not that - it just didn't fit into the whole picture.Overall, an enjoyable read.
review 2: Erotic romance tends to be all over the board, but this one hit all the qualities that I most enjoy. The characters have a history, and the plot extends beyond the bedroom. The chemistry is hot, the sex scenes steamy without being over-the-top impossibly crazy (or disturbing), the ending is believable, and I will be reading more from Lorelei James. Too often, erotica (especially e-published) is of dubious quality. The story might be creative and interesting (and hot), but the writing style is often clumsy and unrefined. James has a tight, well-paced, solid literary writing style, proving you don't have to sacrifice great writing skills to write erotica. less

The story was alright, interesting enough to keep reading, but not interesting enough to reread.
