review 1: This really isn't a regular review with commentary about the characters, plot etc., but more about the author. I love her books. She has a way with dialogue that just makes me smile throughout her books. Although I don't have a fav, so far I haven't read a book I did not like. Began with Corralled and I've been hooked every since. I know I'm going to be treated to witty sense of humor, interesting attitude about life, lots of raunchy down and dirty sex (yes, she writes erotic romances), and a love story about everyday people who don't feel lovable.
review 2: This book was better than the first in the series. The sex scenes were spicier in the first, but this one was better overall. It felt as if it had more substance. Also, I don't remember laughing as much ... moreor as hard while reading book one.I loved that they didn't jump into bed with one another right away and the Lorelei wrote their sexual encounter so realistically. We all know that most times the first time you are with someone intimately is most times a little awkward or at least no where near perfect. This book was about Bran and Harper, but we got to see Hank and Lainie and also see things being set up for Abe/Janie, Celia/Kyle, and Renner/Tierney. less
