review 1: Can I have the option of giving this 10 stars?! I am absolutely 110% happy with how this series ended. In my opinion it couldn't have ended any differently than her and Jon getting married and having a baby together. While some readers may think it's impossible for such young kids to find love like that I am living breathing proof it's possible. I met my now husband when we were 17 years old, just 3 months out of high school and in July we will be married for 10 years and together for 15. So this story sat very heavy in my heart. It was innocent, pure and proof that there is soulmates. I have never been so touched by characters or writing before I was introduced to Lori's books. Every single one of them sticks with me for many reasons and I pray daily that she has more spi... moren-offs from both the Emi series and the Choisie series. All I need is just for her to keep writing! I won't ever find another author who impacted me the way she has! Top notch and absolutely beautiful story telling! Keep it up Lori I love you!!
review 2: I believe that this is one of the hardest reviews that I have had to write. I just absolutely fell in love with this series and I’m sad to see it end. In the last book we get to find out what is going on with Livvy and find out what is going to happen with her and Jon. While Livvy was not my favorite in the series it didn’t disappoint at all. Lori has a way of writing to are sucked into the story and when her character’s feel pain you feel it. I just broke my heart that she still was having a hard time finding herself once she went to college and that she felt the need to be home every weekend she could make. And I for understand how that can be when I made the move to college I struggled even after I made friends it just took me a while to really be myself and have fun.I did think that Jon should have had to work a little bit harder to get back into her good graces. But I understood why didn’t make him work hard for it Livvy missed and they needed to make up for lost time. I still have some questions when it comes to the subject of Livvy’s biology parents and I just felt like I was left hanging. Didn’t see the point of bringing them up in the book if there was not going to be any clarification as to what happened and how Livvy’s ended up with a single mother. The ending was just okay for me seeing how this is the last in the series and may be last for these characters I just thought that they we were going to get more from the ending then what was giving. Lori has never written a book that I didn’t love and she had never written a book that I couldn’t rate at 3 stars or higher and this one was no exception I didn’t love everything but I still loved it if that makes any sense. Hopefully will we get a story about Trey (livvy’s brother) one day I have my fingers crossed for that one. less
