review 1: I loved it!What would happen if a scientist fell in love with the grim reaper? Sarah, a scientist working feverishly on curing dementia, has the boss from hell, a hot neighbour, a family history of losing one's marbles, and a grandmother who sees dead people. So what would happen if this woman saw her hot neighbour claiming a soul? While it's just another day's work for David, who is trying to earn redemption, this is definitely a complication he doesn't need. This story had many layers and an ending where it could come out 50 different ways, but it's left to the last two pages to keep you hanging on. I can't really say more as I'll spoil it, but it's a fun read. If you like romance with a paranormal spin this is it!
review 2: David Anderson is a reaper. He was
... moreonce a soldier but now he’s in charge of escorting souls to the great beyond. He is tired of his occupation and hoping that his penance is up soon and then the beautiful Sarah Griffith walks into his life. Sarah awakens parts of himself he thought long forgotten. But then the worst happens, Sarah’s name appears on his list. Will he reap Sarah’s soul or break all the rules for love?Grave Intentions is a nice romance. It wasn’t my favorite read. At times it moved a little slow for me but there are a lot of elements that I like. David and Sarah have great chemistry. I found the reaper aspect to be quite interesting and the other reapers exciting. There was just something about it that didn’t grab my emotions as much as I would have liked.Reviewed by Miranda for Joyfully Reviewed less
