review 1: Tricia has taken over her sisters businesses while Angelica is on a book tour. Before she leaves, there is an explosion and one man is killed and Bob is hurt. Angelica asks Tricia to take care of Bob. She is handling her store while trying to figure out the explosion. She finds there are issues with the cafe receipts but waits to ask Angelica. Frannie in the Cookery is devastated by the death and is having a hard time. She puts together a memorial where the mother shows up and lambastes her son. Things are bleak for Tricia when she is being stalked by Russ. There is also a 20million dollar lottery winner in Stoneham. Then Tricia finds out Angelica has had issues with her car being ambushed. review 2: I know I said I was done when I read book 5, but I found this for a dollar and decided to pick it up and fill in the gap between three and five.Again the main character comes across as judge mental and unlike able. All if the men in this series with the exception of Mr. Everett are apparently jerks, stalkers, and cheaters...If your looking for a bookstore mystery, skip this series and read the Haunted Bookshop Mysteries instead. Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP. less
