review 1: Why oh why did I get sucked into this. It was the cover's fault. It drew me in.I didn't pay attention that this isn't a whole book, but a measly 50 pages, or chapter or events as I later found out.What are you supposed to do when you have already paid your money?This upsets me when authors do this, I mean if your story is good, release itin one novel not piecemeal. This is just gouging the public and will turnpeople against reading this author.There are so many self published books out there, you would think the authoror publishing house would want to attract readers, not take advantage.Next time I order I am going to be looking at the page count and makesure I get my hard earned money's worth.
review 2: I hate writing a negative review not only because I don't... more want to hurt any feelings but it also means that I had to give up on a book. That being said I just couldn't get into it, the characters lacked for me, they seemed to never find a way to come together. I hated reading the obvious thoughts they each had as well. I didn't feel any connection and Maybe that was the book having way too many fillers or because it was split up into too many books. The book in itself was over descriptive so I found myself cutting and changing words as I was reading which was very distracting. I really wanted to love it, and I did try! I really dislike the books that are split. I loathed the other book I read split up as well and at first I thought it was the author but maybe it's just because I lose any ties I had to the characters because of the stopping. less
