review 1: It is a marriage of convenience for both Tabby and Acheson. Tabby wanted Ash to let her have the full custody of Amber but instead, he make a marriage of proposition to her. Ash needed to marry soonest possible to secure his inheritance despite the fact that he is the one who is running the business. But, his deceased father in his will stated that he have to get marry to secure his portion of the company share. Tabby is an outspoken from the beginning of the story and being someone who never been treated that way before make his head is spinning. Tabby knows what she want and with the proposition from him, she have no choice but to accept it. I like her confidence and she did not even flustered when Ash tried to high handed her. Instead she just stood up to him. I like re... moreading the way Ash’s character developed: from someone who thought a child is a nuisance, Ash have changed to a fun loving father. Overall, it is a sweet read for me with a very much likeable heroin in Tabby ;)
review 2: Little Amber is an orphan being raised by Tabby Glover. Acheron Dimitrakos is the child's other co-guardian and cousin to her father but he doesn't want anything to do with the responsibility. Tabby is forced to track him down at his office to vouch for her or the state will put Amber in foster care! Acheron's father's will demands that he marries within a year or lose 50% of his company so he tells Tabby that he'll take charge of Amber's care, if she marries him, strictly platonic of course. Tabby finds him arrogant, cold and inhospitable but knows she has no choice if she wants to keep Amber. However, once married, maybe the truth will set them both free?Nothing like a millionaire businessman to the rescue to warm up a cold winter's night, especially when that includes a well-written story! less
