And he commanded it again tonight, even after nearly ruining my life.” -KennedyWow this book had me hooked from the very beginning.There was no fluff, it got straight to the point and was easy to read .Its very easy to fall in love with both main characters Reece with his power and confidence and Kennedy with her vulnerabilities and determination to change her life around . They both bring out the better version of themselves . The other characters are not really delved into and perhaps we could have learned more about them, but that would have distracted from the main attraction, which was t... morehe chemistry that Reece and Kennedy shared.It's a heartwarming story about not letting the past define you, and about your first love. .It would have been nice to learn more about the fourteen years when Kennedy and Reece were apart and also to read more of their history which was glossed over a little too fast for me, I wanted more. It was an easy read that made you easily fall in love with Tanny, Reece, Kennedy and Brian. I loved reading both Kennedy's POV and Reece's POV, but it felt a little rushed to get to the end. “My heart slams to a stop in my chest and I forget to breathe when my eyes collide with the luminous blue-green ones that I’ve never been able to completely put behind me.” - KennedyHighly recommended read!
review 2: This was book 2 to the Pretty SeriesBook 1 being Pretty Little Lies the story of Sloane and Hemi - that was a good readThis book is the story of Reese (Hemi's brother) and KennedyThese 2 were together once 14 years ago then were separatedThey met again and rekindled.I cant say that I loved the chemistry - she went to work for him on his yacht - she is a dancershe danced all of twice but she stayed in the "employee staterooms" She found out that he was engaged but claimed it was marriage in name only for business but couldn't see why Kennedy was upset about which was dumbOnce they came together other things came forward and it was a happy endingWorth re-reading - no! less
