review 1: White Knuckled Moments is a sweet and realistic snapshot of the lives of young love in the face of adversity. The pain and illness in the story was dealt with honestly, without being glossed over. Much of the story is focused on the central protagonist coming out and how his family reacted to the news which adds another dimension of tension, depth and context to his pain. The pacing of the story is halting at first but the bursts of sexual tension and relief are worth the wait.Tai and Cory work so well together that I wish I could read more about them. Tai is adorable and nice to the point where it's nearly unbelievable, but exactly the kind of guy you'd brave terminal illness to fall in love with. That was the strength of White Knuckled Moments – characters I rooted for w... moreith pain I wanted to soothe.
review 2: What a wonderful story! And sorry, book, that you had to wait so long on my kindle til I finally got around to start reading. But to make up for that - I couldn't put you down. You pulled me right in and although the topic was a very serious one, the whole reading experience was positive. It was a joy to follow Cory along while he tried to work on his bucket list and finding love although he wasn't even looking for it. I hope, Cory and Tai will have a long time to work on their list together. less
