review 1: I know when I pick up a Madeline Sheehan story I'm going to get real gritty heat wrenching love story. I LOVE HAWK!! I felt his strong silent passionate loving vibe. I"m happy with how things turned out with Jase and I'm thrilled with Dorothy's happy ever after. I am sad that with each story we can expect anywhere from 5-20yrs to go by and my beloved bikers are getting older and older. Dear Madeline Sheehan, I CANNOT HANDLE DEUCE'S DEATH SO STOP THAT NOW!!!ps - I cannot see how ZZ can redeem himself but if Lily is involved I won't be happy. What is it with all these men bagging these girls 17-25yrs younger?!?
review 2: I have had a love/hate relationship with this whole series, but LOVE wins because I have reread all of them more than 2 times! Madeline just blo... morews me away with her ability to make me love her books even while I want to throttle some of the characters :)I was anxiously (obsesively?) waiting for the release of this book after finishing the last book Unattainable. I was not disappointed. I was up all night reading because I totally lost track of time and could not put it down. 5am came as a real surprise! Glad it was not a workday because I think I would have still done it!!I loved watching the relationship between D and Hawk unfold. It was such a long time coming and reading more of the backstory made me even more angry at Jace than I was in previous books. He paid a very high price for his selfishness, but so did Dorothy, Chrissy and everyone else in his life.I am now OBSESSIVELY waiting for ZZs story!! After the tiny piece included at the end of Unbeloved, I just cannot wait! I will once again be stalking Madeline's FB page and website hoping beyond hope that it will be soon. It seems she plans on releasing Preachers story first - I'm torn about that. Have never thought of Preacher like 'that' ... But maybe I will be surprised. I secretly hope she changes her mind and releases ZZs book first.do not miss this book ! If you have not read the other 3 in the series DO NOT hesitate! You will be hopeful, angry, screaming mad, sad and everything in between when you read thm, but it's all worth it. less
