review 1: Very good book. Immortal Blood was a nice first story to start a promising series. I'm absolutely invested in finding out what else is in store for the other characters. I will say there should have been more plot with the Fae aspects of this world, although hopefully many of the hints given will be addressed in future books. I'm disappointed that the villain(s) didn't really get their comeuppance. This was mostly romance and relationship based, with enough interesting plot points to satisfy me. I recommend it.
review 2: Immortal Blood is the first book I have read by Magen McMinimy and I absolutely loved it. I enjoyed this book from beginning to end and with Izzy, Bain and his brothers there was never a dull moment. Zander is a luck eating leprechaun who has s
... moretolen Izzy’s luck and Bain must protect Izzy while trying to capture Zander and force him to give Izzy back her luck. Bain takes Izzy back to his world where he can protect her but Bain’s mother Lady Esperanza dislike Izzy from the first moment they meet. She refuses to let Bain fall in love with a worthless human, so she takes away something or rather someone he would do anything for. Bain and his brothers are fighting to keep peace within their world, trying to track Zander and now Bain must decide if Izzy is worth fighting for or letting go. I enjoyed this book and the characters so much that I read it in one sitting and I will be starting the second book soon. If you love paranormal books you will definitely enjoy this one. less
