A Knitting Mystery
review 1: Yarn Over Murder is Maggie Sefton's latest in the knitting mystery series. It starts right after the last one ends. It picks up on the wildfires that ended the last book. Kelly is sleuthing once more. Kelly if you ask me drinks far to much coffee. It seems she should be flying around not walking. In this one she seems to have a hard time focusing on her work, at first blaming the wildfires, but I think she could settle down a bit more with less coffee. Anyway a Lambspun employee is top suspect in a murder, she really looks guilty. Kelly finds the truth and the killer is brought to justice. The group seems to be more in the background. They do help get the animals to safety and are there to help with fire cleanup. A good cozy once more.

... moreas good to get together with the Lambspun knitters again. By now I feel like these characters are friends of mine and reading a new book is sitting down and catching up. The mystery takes place in the midst of bad wildfires around Ft. Connor and in the canyons around the city. The wildfire theme is timely and brings the reader into the tension surrounding everyone. This is one series I have kept up on as new books come out and have never been disappointed in each new story. less

I truly enjoy this series, but this follow up did not grab me in the first chapter as the previous.

Cute book. I like the characters. It did not have a "Wow" factor for me but it was a nice read.

I just could not get into this book. Finally decided not to waste any more time trying.

Still a good mystery but the fire was the story. A little disappointed.
