review 1: while I generally enjoy the stories, and polish them off pretty quickly :-), there is way too much talking on the smartphone while driving. Way too much.I am a spinner, and I think she's got it a bit wrong - once a fleece is SPUN, it is yarn, not a fleece. Also, the yarn winds onto the bobbin, or spindle, if using one of those spindle wheels. It doesn't wind onto the wheel. We won't even discuss the use of the term "batten" - it is either roving, top, a batt, or a rolag.
review 2: Ponzi scheemer Jared Rizzoli is found murdered in his car in the driveway between Lambspun and Kelly's cottage. There are numerous people in Ft. Connor who are glad to hear that he is dead. Kelly and Burt set out to try and clear the name of two Ft. Connor citizens. Pete's uncl... moree Ben suffers a heart attack and they must help care for Pete's niece Casssie who comes to live with them for the time being. Two different story lines are taking place in the book. less
