review 1: A man wakes up naked in the ocean with no memory of who he is or why he's there. Finding a car that appears to be his, he goes to a hotel, only to find cops after him. So who is he and what has he done? It's an interesting premise, kind of like a more every man version of the Bourne Identity. I really enjoyed it and found it hard to put down. Full of twists, it's suspenseful and well paced. I highly recommend it.
review 2: I heard about this book through an email from b&n. it was one of Gillian flynns top 10 book picks. I had never heard or read any of Gillian flynns work but I took a peruse at the list to see if there were any good ideas. This book sounded really good and I immediately added it to my list. I've been waiting to read this book ever since I g
... moreot it but always have other books to read first. All in all, this was a good book. I feel that the premise is much better than the book. I guess I just expected more based on the premise and maybe that's just me. Every time I thought I knew where the story was going, it veered there and then somewhere else and I liked that. When it started to come down to the end, though, I expected there to be more to it than there was. Overall, a very good book. I'm notoriously hard on endings and I just didn't love this one. less

I love this author, and I think this may be the best of all that he's written.
