MaddAddam Trilogy

review 1: Margaret Atwood is one of my favorite authors and this final book in the trilogy did not disappoint! I only wish I had read the the first one more recently as all the various characters and story lines come together. If you haven't started, you are in for a treat as the trilogy is now complete. The book is wonderfully written and so much more than just a fantasy story of how the future could turn out.
review 2: I enjoyed a lot of the humor in this post-apocalyptic world created by Margaret Atwood. Very few writers can get away with successfully writing in the style of legends and myths or childhood storybooks and make it convincing adult reading, let alone literature, yet, Atwood can. It reminded me a lot of Neal Stephenson's science fiction in the way the c... moreharacters were developed, as well as linguistic jargon. less
