review 1: 5 stars with a condition. This is more for the girls out there starting out in life. It would be a nice high school or college gift. Most of the stuff seems geared towards the girl who isn't in a relationship. While there is a section on boyfriends I skipped it. It is worth the read and I'll keep this book in mind for when my daughter gets old enough to want simple hair and makeup tips. :) I look forward to Maria's next book
review 2: Consumed this book in a day and a half, then ran out to buy ingredients for one of her recipes (eggplant roll-ups, which were delicious in spite of the fact that I'm not usually crazy about eggplant). Loved her tips and photocopied some pages for future reference (in case I ever have a personal assistant and houses in multiple sta... moretes... LOL!!!) Informative book that left me feeling like I've spent the weekend being mentored by a dear friend. Maria Menounos is good people. less
