review 1: I was very skeptical about Adam and Abby (yes Grant's Abby...!!!) falling for each other. But after finishing this story I understand it better and have a better appreciation for the 2 of them finding love together.Abby is like so many other woman who do not enjoy sex and do orgasm. She is very much what society says woman should be - not sexual creatures, a lady at all times, prime and proper, do not ask or make waves etc. But with Adam she is finally able to discuss her issues and concerns about life and sex and finally asks for what she wants. I really enjoyed this part fo the story.Adam was yet another wonderful McCarthy. He is so kind and gentle yet firm with Abby that I actually swooned a few times. He also fought for what he wanted and won big time.And Grant f... moreinally is getting better - so happy for him. He took the Adam and Abby situation better than I would have expected or thought that conversastion would go - but a very valid point that I never thought about up front was Grant is engaged and happy and he and Abby were over a long time ago, so what does it matter to him - another great point that I enjoyed and appreciated and was glad I did not skip this book as I orginally planned to.
review 2: So this is one of my top three favorite in the series. Totally loved how Adam and Abby get together and finding the 'one' makes her lose all her inhibitions but stick to her guns also of not dealing with another long distance relationship or leaving the place she knows is home.Had to chuckle at Owen and Laura's new dilemma. Grant's break through was extremely emotional and well written. And Adam's 'six kids' made me laugh. Although there was sexual content, it wasn't as bad as some of the others. less
