review 1: I have never read a book divided into episodes for seasons! "Taken" is the first. It has an intriguing plot. A story that wants to be raw and hard. The name "Rita" reminds me MaRITA A. Hansen...is it an haphazard? Does the author identify herself with the main character?My only negative note is the Italian translation. I'm italian, but I decided to write you in English to hope to be understood by everyone (including the author). So, I know I can't write well, correctly, because English is not my mother tongue, but I don't write books, I just read them. I don' t want to criticize the book, because I like it very much and I hope to read the other episodes soon too. I'd like to suggest a greater focus on translation. Thanks.
review 2: Warning: This series is proba... morebly the darkest I have read. Do not read this if you are squeamish. This book contains explicit rape, m/m, m/f scenes. While that is not for everyone, I still enjoyed the book. If that content does not bother you, you will enjoy this series.I like and hate that it reads like a tv show. Because you have to wait for each "episode". I didn't start it until the set of the first five were available together. It is a little different in that respect. So keep that in mind before you start the series. less
