review 1: 4 stars!!Why did he have to fuck Camilla in front of Rita!?!?! Arghh! Frano is a sick bastard!!! I felt bad for Rita..."I would even kill you if you (Padre) had done it, so kiss my ass...no, don't kiss it, you pervert, you'd like that." nice one Matteo. I was kind of hoping that the priest would fuck him, you know, karma... he deserves it.Oh god! Please don't marry that bitch! He doesn't love Sophie anymore? coz she's a different person from years ago? dear, she's just trying to hide her inner demon!If this was a novel, like a real novel, not a novel that was cut in parts,...i would rate this with 5 stars.
review 2: Warning: This series is probably the darkest I have read. Do not read this if you are squeamish. This book contains explicit rape, m/m, m/f scenes.... more While that is not for everyone, I still enjoyed the book. If that content does not bother you, you will enjoy this series.I like and hate that it reads like a tv show. Because you have to wait for each "episode". I didn't start it until the set of the first five were available together. It is a little different in that respect. So keep that in mind before you start the series.The author does a terrific job with the story line and characters. I could not believe that I was able to feel empathy for some of these characters who really were just awful human beings! That is the sign of a great story teller. I haven't been this conflicted since Dark Duet and the Consequences series. However, some of the twists were kind of too ridiculous. I would have preferred it stopped with the first twist, and left Rita as she seemed. I will still be tuning in to see how it plays out, regardless! less
