review 1: Basically it is Mark Millar once again attempting once again to take the familiar superhero genre and doing something interesting with it. In this case by making all characters supervillains who are under the thumb of an aging supervillain and who do not like this one bit. So they set up a heist to rob this boss figure of his riches...There's lot to enjoy here, and you can see how this could easily be made into a big budget Hollywood movie. Unfortunately it already suffers from the drawbacks of such adaptations, e.g. due to the vast amount of characters too few get their spot in the sun and thus plenty of action filled pages amount to beautiful but rather empty tableaus. And for a heist story it is rather lacking in the memorable one liners department. So why then did I rat... moree it four stars? Because three just doesn't seem enough, I enjoyed this far too much to just rate it "I liked it".

Just a fun heist story with people that have powers. Nothing mind blowing, but very enjoyable.
