review 1: I got this book as a competition prize and it's been sitting around waiting for me to finish enough library books to finally start it. I really loved the author's writing style, and the protagonist is sort of a mix of James Bond and Frank Martin (The Transporter) in the 1930s (none of which is a bad thing in my mind!) I for one could quite happily read the Ongoing Adventures of Tom Nash and Pals if Mark Mills ever chooses to write them, but for the meantime I'm trying to read as many of his other books as I can. Recommended.

... morecters. I would love to read an extension novel about Lucy or Walter. I would also buy a follow up novel to this one to read more about Tom's adventures. Over all it was a good mystery and a great read for the beach or some other occasion that you want a light read for. less
