review 1: Boot and Shoe are two dogs that do everything and go everywhere together -- everywhere, that is, except for their respective relaxation perches on the front and back porch. When a meddlesome squirrel gets all up in their business and upsets their routine, they find themselves wondering desperately what could have happened to the other, and if they'll ever see each other again!MF does it again! (Setting aside the fact that I thought the dogs in this were cats at first...) This was, as expected, hilarious and just the right amount of heartwarming. It even featured a slightly Hardyesque twist here and there. Frazee's illustration style is unique and so appealing, I just want to linger on each page to examine the humor and the detail and the color a little closer before tu... morerning the page.

Boot and Shoe are two litter mates who can't seem to find each other because they are both in the wrong place at the wrong time. This story is for young primary grades.
