review 1: Boot and shoe are dogs that are very close twin brothers and just like any twin they do everything alike. Unfortunately one day they get really mixed up because of a pesky squirrel and can not seem to figure out where the other one is. They both sit around thinking the one will eventually show up not realizing that the other one is doing the exact same thing. After much time spent waiting, they both end up having to go to the bathroom at the same tree, which is how they finally find each other and all is back to normal again. I would have this book in my classroom, but only apart of my library for my children to read when they want to. It's a cute story that I think children would really enjoy!
review 2: This was a very cute book. This book was about two dogs ... morethat do everything together except sit on the porch together. One sits in the front and the other in the back until one day something happens that brings them to each others place and they are surprised to find out the other is not there. The story goes on to describe how they find each other again. I think this story would be perfect for a Kindergarten or first grade read aloud. The text follows a pattern and it would be easy for students to predict what will happen next. I love the language and vocabulary used in this book and during my read aloud I think I would use this book to focus on vocabulary and the colorful selection of words this author used. I would definitely like to recommend this book to other teachers to use in their classroom for educational purposes as well as entertainment. less
