review 1: I have never read a book that included so many "stunningly gorgeous" men in one sitting. Let me see.......There was Jory who apparently was (over the top gorgeous) hence the reason anything that had a pulse wanted to fuck him. Then there was Sam who was (broodingly handsome and let's not forget gorgeous) and oh he's my favorite, Dane who, for all intents and purpose, was so gorgeous (panty wetting, orgasm inspiring, stomach clenchingly gorgeous) whew!! That any woman within range just couldn't help but fall immediately in love (Yeah fucking right). Now each page of this book inspired **oh fucking puh-leases** outta me, there's no denying that, but even with the high improbabilities, the jaw dropping incredulities and the unlikely possibilities, I found myself eating up eve... morery word, every fictitious, laughable paragraph and every eye rolling come on, I am not ashamed to say that I gobbled that shit up and wanted more. The only thing that really disappointed me about this book (apart from that shitty cliffhanger ending) was the PG 13 sex. Mary Calmes' lukewarm descriptions of Sam and Jory's most intimate acts were painful to read because they were so boring, my word it should be against the law to have sex between two lovers be portrayed as it was in this book, GAHHH!!!!!! like WTF!!!! (I felt cheated). Thank God the plot itself kept me interested enough therefore I wasn't too bothered by the "Barney and Friends" bedroom play between these main characters. This was a fun read looking forward to reading the next one....yeayyyy
review 2: This book series should be subtitled 'Everybody Loves Jory'. He's the biggest Mary-Sue I've had the misfortune of reading in quite a while and it was a definite struggle to finish this book. It would have been a DNF had it not been a Scavenger Hunt book. I didn't like the writing style - I found it confusing at times, and a bit all over the place. The dialogue was odd, the characters unlikeable (except to other characters, of course). Everyone was gorgeous, the plot was ridiculous... I just did not like this book. And yet... I find myself wanting to know what happens next. How odd. less
