review 1: "LOVE THIS!"My Audible Audiobook Review:You know what... I love everything Mary Calmes write...well just about.. Her paranormal stories are just as good as her non-paranormal books... I loved how this book started.. I was like... how is this paranormal...then bam! The wolves come out! This was simply great. The relationship between the two main characters was extremely well written, and it only help add to the drama when everything started happening... Loved it!Mary Calmes is one of the top m/m romance writers so, yeah.. so worth a credit, buy or sale.Narration was awesome
review 2: Good read but didn't blow me away. There was a lot to like about this with the ties between Quade's pack and his new relationship with Roman. It was also nice to see no mating ins... moreanity and the option of turning a human into a shifter something that doesn't happen too often in shifter books. Also for once Quade and Roman are different enough I don't automatically see Calmes's stock characters in them. Unfortunately I just didn't see any real drama/angst or a big driving force in this book. It just didn't hold my attention since any problem was a slam dunk victory and no plot twists. I didn't feel any tension in this book and Roman was a little annoying at times always assuming he is going to get what he wants. less
