review 1: J'ai attendu tellement longtemps ce tome 2 en VF que j'avais peur d'être déçue. Et bien non, j'ai adoré. J'ai complèment plongé dans l'histoire, et les aventures -ou mésaventures- de Jin. L'auteur ne l'a pas épargné, et nous non plus, on a pas le temps de souffler, mais qu'est-ce que c'est bon !! J'ai adoré retrouver tout le monde,Jin et Logan, mais aussi Crane, Yuri, Mikael, Domin et Koren; m'énerver un peu contre Jin et ses doutes perpétuels,sa difficulté à faire confiance (même si on peut le comprendre). Puis le plaindre et avoir envie de le caliner devant les épreuves qu'il traverse. Puis frémir devant ses transformations. J'ai adoré voir l'évolution de sa relation avec Logan, leurs disputes, leurs reconciliations, et la chaleur de leurs étreintes ... more(vraient très TRES chaudes !). J'ai beaucoup aimé également cette plongée dans l'histoire et la structure du peuple des hommes panthères, leurs légendes, leurs lois et leurs mythes, et le lien avec l'Egypte antique. Et la dynamique de groupe assez complexe qui se met en place au sein de la meute, mais également avec les meutes alliées. Je n'ai qu'une hâte maintenant, c'est de retrouver tout ce petit monde dans le tome 3 !! Voilà une série de Bit lit MM hautement addictive.
review 2: So, I had put off reading this next book because I had a few issues from the first book, which, thankfully, was addressed in this second book. I really enjoyed this second book of this series. The first book was okay, but between the two, I liked this one a whole lot more.This book is long and a lot, A LOT, of things go down. It is pretty fast paced and you have to pay attention or else you'll miss something. I read this book until I had fallen asleep, only to wake up to finish it. They gang is going to across the ocean to the main event. The feast. Were all the semel's and important people show up to pay respects to the head semel and high priest.Jin is insecure about Logan's love. He was straight before he met Jin. How can Logan love him so hard, when he is a man. Is it because oh who Jin is OR what he is, a reah? Does it matter? We focus on this a lot during the story. Is their love strong enough to survive. I really liked how it was brought up and executed. Jin is also kidnapped by a psychopath(a semel) from his past. It isn't good. Things could be worse, but it could have been a hell a lot better. He lives... somehow. Jin is in the same town where the big Feast is happening. Jin meets a lot of important people. He also meets the big man, the 'king', semel. I don't like him. He wants Jin like he is a piece of meat. He is also a bit psycho when it comes to Jin. Poor Jin and his pheromones, it makes everyone want him. But more importantly, we find more about Jin. He is more than just a (male) reah. Much more. I am sure we will explore Jin's new and improved self(and power) we we continue the series. less
