Beside Your Heart
review 1: Sixteen years later, Nicki and Adam are face to face again through their jobs. They both are in a relationship but it doesn't stop them from become reacquainted and Adam isn't afraid of revealing his intentions. The work jargon seemed a little excessive although I know it was important to the story. I liked that Nicki could be Adam's rock this time around. It was also entertaining to read about Adam's cousin David.
review 2: **JUST BOOKED received an ARC for an honest review**WHAT OCCURS WHEN YOU FIND TRUE LOVE ONLY TO LOSE IT AND THEN REALIZE AS TIME HAS PASS IT MAY HAVE BEEN YOUR SOULMATE?Disclosure of the Heart begins as Nicole “Nicki” Johnson is introduce as the new Deputy Press Secretary at the first official press conference in the White House. She is
... more nervous, but not due to the position but due to Adam Kincaid, BBC correspondent reporter in Washington DC, in which Nicole has not seen in over fifteen years. All her memories are flooding her mind and all she think about is “Here You Come Again” by Dolly Parton, because Adam reminds her of a part in the song when a man walks back into a woman’s life just to wreck it again.“Here you come againJust when Im about to make it work without youYou waltz right in the doorJust like you done beforeAnd wrap my heart round your little finger...”– “Here You Come Again” by Dolly PartonEven though time had passed, Nicki’s broken heart never healed when Adam left her and she admits feeling upon looking at him, “I was seventeen again, with a scarred body and a shattered life.” Nicki had tried to move on as well as Adam, because they both were in relationships: Adam’s girlfriend, Lady Felicity Chambers, was an ocean apart residing in London and Nicki’s boyfriend, Juan Carlos, was constantly traveling as a campaign consultant. Nicki’s memories kept replaying in her mind regarding a conversation with Adam before he had to move back to England.“Nicki, will we ever speak to each other again?”“I…don’t know…I guess never say never, but it’s kind of unlikely. Our lives are going to be very different. I mean, we really do live a world apart. An ocean apart, away.”“Maybe, if we were living in the same city.”“But what if…what if I was thirty-five and still single? Could I contact you then?”“In the highly unlikely event that was the case, I’d say sure.”“You’ve got to admit, it’s probably not going to happen”.“Maybe, maybe not.”Author Mary Whitney romance novel, Disclosure of the Heart, has done an AMAZING job writing a BEAUTIFUL ROMANCE. Disclosure of the Heart is the second novel in the Beside Your Heart series, but Mary Whitney is currently writing the third book in the series, Forever Your Heart, the POV story of Adam Kincaid and the last in the series due out early 2014. Also, do not miss Mary Whitney’s first novel in the Beside Your Heart series, Beside Your Heart, which started the beautiful romance trilogy.I rate Mary Whitney’s novel in the Beside Your Heart series, Disclosure of the Heart – 4.5 AMAZING STARS! less
