review 1: I have loved following Betsy and her ADD, narcissistic personality since the beginning of the series. The last few books have gone down the rabbit hole, and this book feels like it is getting back on track. You have to be fluent in Betsy to get through the first few chapters because she takes herself on tangents that will get you lost. Once I was absorbed back into her world, I was pulled by the emotions. I wanted to cry when she cried and wanted to punch the people she wanted to punch.I can't wait for the next book.
review 2: Thank goodness Betsy is finally starting to grow up. The trouble with a viewpoint character who is supposed to be endearingly annoying is that it's Oh So Easy for her to become just plain annoying. And she's been there for at least a c
... moreouple of books now. It's a rough ride to get there, but by the END of this book she's beginning to see the light. I truly wish Davidson were just a SLIGHTLY deeper thinker, 'cause some of the ideas she is playing with about good and evil, heaven and hell, and the nature of choice, could be really interesting. But (maybe because her viewpoint character is an airhead??) we never do more than skim the surface. less

After a couple of so-so books following Betsy Taylor's adventures, this one finally hits the mark.

Not my favorite in the series. Once the cover art changed, I feel the series went downhill.

Good story, although it made me dizzy at times reading it.
