review 1: This story reminds me of the six million dollar man and wolverine to start with. A soldier is rebuilt after nearly dying in a military conflict. He did not know this was going to happen. A top secret organization repaired him, but then he escaped their handling. Almost non-stop action while they try to retrieve their project. Very good story. I will be looking forward to the Cestus Contract when it comes out. Well done. I received this as an ebook through Library Things giveaways.
review 2: Mat Nastos has become someone to follow in 2013. I just read this action packed novel that felt like a big budget roller coaster of a movie. It's got everything you could want in a book and had a kind of Terminator meets Wolverine vibe to it. It was an easy read with a sense
... more of humor and it felt very good in that it moved at a good pace. Highly recommend this book from Nastos, especially if you love action, action movies and flawed heroes who kick ass. less

Really enjoyed it. The plot was Borne/X-Men-ish imho but the story wasn't. Loved it

If you want action, then this is the book. It is nonstop.

Should be rated X for too much gratuitous violence!
Jen
Meh. All violence to help power a limping story.
