review 1: I really enjoyed this novel. I feel i learnt something about Mozart's life even though it was historical fiction. I found the writing clean, fresh and it flowed. I liked the short chapters, they kept me engaged. I found myself wanting to race to the end and find out...How did he die?! I like reading historical novels, I like to think that these things did happen, it's fascinating. I liked the characters and found myself totally empathising with nannerl. Great story.
review 2: I liked this book very much, but I didn't love it. The premise was fascinating. What truly happened to Mozart? His sister is determined to find out what happened to her estranged brother. His sister seemed like a very flat character who at times seemed very dumb. The action is happeni
... moreng around her, then she sits back and goes, "oh, that's what it was." This really annoyed me for some reason. There was a lot of action in the story to keep it moving and the ending resolution was interesting, if a little predictable. less

Learning the background of the world Mozart worked was very interesting. I knew of none of it.

Thjanks, Keri. Got it from Nina after you reviewed it. It felt well researched, which is fine.

Sort of like Amadeus. It's interesting and gives some insight into Mozart's time.

Light mystery. The historical details seemed somewhat superficial.
