review 1: My son and I enjoyed this book and I was excited with how interesting it was to him, especially since it incorporates math. While my son is in 2nd grade and they have not quite gotten into fractions and multiplication knowing that it is something he needs to start to learn made the fact that he liked this book that much better. This story about a lions friends who all try and out do each other really makes the fraction and multiplication concept fun and something you don't even realize you are learning. I definitely recommend this book for those who love a good story, great illustrations and a fun way to learn about math.
review 2: This is a great little book about for covering sharing, math, and little things making a big difference. I am a real fan, particula
... morerly of the way in which the author and illustrator demonstrate mathematics and their precepts in a visual way. It makes dividing, and multiplying easy concepts for youngins. If you are expecting a book about lions, you will be disappointed. The protagonist is an ant!Recommend. less
