review 1: Maureen Child has always been a favorite among the Harlequin authors. One night, two heirs is a nice little romance with a familiar theme. Our hero, Rick and our heroine, Sadie, had a passionate one night stand which resulted in Sadie becoming pregnant. Rick, being a marine left Sadie behind not knowing her condition. Rick comes home, three years later and finds out he's the father of two heart stopping little girls who have his eyes. The story begins with Rick wanting to do right by Sadie and marry her. But Sadie already once divorced refuses to marry a man who does not love her. This is a well written tale of two determined people, each unwilling to bend. Good read when you want something short and fast paced. Great characterization and a story that will continue with a ... morestory by Katherine Garbera, The Rebel Tycoon Returns. 3 Stars
review 2: One Night, Two Heirs by Maureen Child is a fast telling story about changes in life that allow people to finally let love into their lives. Sadie and Rick are two characters whose passion for each other burns so bright it’s hard to believe the pages of this book have not caught fire. I give One Night, Two Heirs by Maureen Child 3.5 smirks because the characters were relatable, the storyline was to the point, and there was an ending to satisfy every reader out there. less
