review 1: I am now on page 93 of the book. I am starting to get really wrapped up in the book! The description of everything makes me feel like I am truly seeing through the main character's eyes. I also like how they describe what happens when she touches the tapestry. They make it seem like she is in another world ( I guess that's why theyy named the book, "Warped"). Another thing that I like is the changes of points of veiw. One chapter it will be from chapter it will be Tessa, and the next, it will be a mysterious person, who is trying to get the tapestry back. They also go all the way back to medevil times to give you a hint on how the tapestry was made. All together it is a very good book, so far!
review 2: This book reminded me of Tracy Chevalier's The Lady and the
... more Unicorn, only written for the YA crowd. I would have absolutely loved this book when I was a child. It has many elements that I enjoy as an adult: an ancient tapestry, magic, romance, reincarnation, and a family-owned bookstore. The story of modern-day Tessa and 16th-century English nobleman William has a mostly-resolved yet somewhat-open ending. I wonder if Guibord is contemplating a sequel? less

Bit of a juvenile writing style for my taste but I loved the plot and the mythology implemented.
