review 1: This series lacked character and color. The plot was driven by physical desire and didn't have any elements that I really found intriguing or revolutionary. It is just your typical shojou romance about a less than perfect (ordinary) girl being loved by a super attractive male counterpart that is completely devoted to her. In comparison to stories like Fruits Basket and Kimi ni Todoke (whose characters I could identify with and like) Demon Love Spell falls short. However, just because I didn't like it doesn't mean you won't.
review 2: I picked this up at work because my inner 16 year old would *SQUEEE* with joy. I used to love romance mangas and it has been so long since I've enjoyed one,  so enter...Demon Love Spell!Yeah, that title is a little mush. And the
... morestory is predictable. Probably why I stopped reading these things awhile ago. There's no big build up to a story and no cast of characters. You are thrown in the middle of their romance. She's innocent and slowly falling in love. He's proud, sexually experienced, and wants to go around protecting her from everything because she is too weak and lame to help herself. This book had the ability to make a exorcist priestess pathetic and needy.I am still going to read volume 2. Just in case she grows some balls. Or he dies. less

I've read most of it and I really enjoy the romance and funny scenes to it all.
