Thug Kitchen is one of my favorite cookbooks. The foul mouthed writing has me in stitches throughout each meal. It’s also a really fun book to share with friends, so every meal that I make turns into a group event.
The recipes found in Thug Kitchen are not too difficult, but so far the ones that I have completed are not quick. I called a few girlfriends over and we created this masterpiece together. It makes for such a wonderful evening. Laughing at the way the recipe is written, at the mistakes made with this being the first attempt, and then getting to taste test the finished product.
There is something to be said for making a recipe from scratch, and then you add loved ones in the mix. The is what comfort and peace is to me. Here we are making chickpea and dumplings, buy your own copy here.
