review 1: Melissa Foster is one of my favorite authors. She can write romance, tear jeckers to mystery like this story. This book was kind of slow pace then some of her stories but this is still great. You can visually see the creepy coal plant and even smell the coal as the story unwinds. Lives changed so long ago that lead to the horrors to come. I highly recommend this book. But then again you can't go wrong with Melissa's books.
review 2: Well, I finished the book. This story had potential, but there were a few problems. The falling action was a bit too long. Although I appreciated the epilogue, it took forever to long to reach it. I felt like this book would never end. Likewise, the rising action was long as well.
