review 1: If you enjoyed Like Water for Chocolate and any of the Sarah Addison Allen books this is a nice trip to Maine and the coast and drooling over the Italian food cooked in it. Add a pregnant mama reading this and you have a happy camper. I enjoyed this pretty predictable, small town book about Holly Maguire whose grandmother recently passed away and gave Holly her house and her business. I always enjoy people writing about food and the family, warm fuzzes and friendships it makes. Someday, I would love a big kitchen with lots of love and people in and out of it, enjoying wonderful food. If you are this type of person, this is a quick, nice read for you. It has also made me very curious about all the dishes cooked in it, so I've made a list that might result in some cook... moreing.
review 2: Ще один фуді chick lit. Ну тут хоча б оригінальний підхід до рецептів, але в цілому, чікліт ще більш дівчачий, ніж попередній варіант. Але якщо вам хочеться чогось "теплого затишного під плед", розслабити мозок і отримати порцію романтики - це однозначно 100% влучання less
