review 1: I really enjoyed this story. Lena has just been released from prison. She goes to a town where she doesn't know anyone, hoping for a fresh start. She makes a friend & gets a job, things seem to be going good. But then she hits a bump in the road. Some of my favorite parts are where she's playing Mrs. Santa. I also liked the fact that when she was having a moment of despair she didn't stay there long. She used her brain & came to some good conclusions. It finishes off with a happy ending. Lena gets a glimpse of good people & learns about a loving God.

Great novella, for the most part. My main gripe? ABRUPT ENDINGS ARE ABRUPT. Holy cripes!
